The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to remove anddispose of one (1) carport structure shared by USCG housing units 5410 and 5411 (fig. 1 & 2 Enclosure 1) on USCG Base Cape Cod in Buzzards Bay, MA 02542 (Map Enclosure 2). Lead containing paint is present on some of the exterior surfaces and asbestos containing material (ACM) is present in the roofing of the carport structure (Report Enclosure 3). These hazardous materials shall be contained and disposed of in accordance with state and federal regulations listed below. Exercise caution to prevent release of lead and asbestos to the environment. All workers and supervisors must have valid MA Licenses to conduct lead and asbestos abatement and removal activities. The Contractor shall complete MA specific project notifications forms 10 days prior to the project start and provide waste disposal per regulation.
