FEDBIZOPPS NOTICE OF INTENT FOR SOLE SOURCE: The United States Coast Guard intends to award a firm fixed price contract to Blackhawk Security LLC, 2800 Woodlawn Dr Suite 132, Honolulu, HI 96822. This procurement is for the acquisition of a sole source supply using simplified procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 561621 – Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths, with a business size standard of $20.5 million. a. Only one responsible source and no other item will satisfy the USCG requirement. b. Only the Blackhawk Security Systems will be accepted at this time. Blackhawk has the capability of ordering equipment that meets strict product security guidelines. They have the capability to tie into current camera system for recording. This synopsis is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. DO NOT submit a bid/quote at this time. Any qualified source may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by this agency. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement can be conducted. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received NLT 11:59 am Hawaii Standard Time (HST) on 19 June 2020. Responses received after this will be considered late IAW FAR 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated.
