The United States Border Patrol (USBP), Office of Field Operations (OFO), in conjunction with the Laboratory Scientific Services Directorate (LSSD), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is conducting market research to gain a greater understanding of the full range of available options for the Rapid Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) services and support, not limited to the procurement of Rapid DNA instruments and consumables, implementation of Rapid DNA instruments at CBP field locations, training, maintenance support, and 24/7 reach-back services. This is an RFI released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 – Market Research. This RFI’s purpose is to obtain market information on viable sources of supply, industry practices, answers to specific questions, and industry comments. All RFI submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
