Border Patrol Request for Quote (RFQ) for Patrol (Dual Purpose) Canines
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking quotes for the procurement of up to two dual-purpose patrol canines, with performance of services located at the Border Patrol K9 Center in El Paso, TX. This opportunity is a 100% small business set-aside and will result in a single firm-fixed-price purchase order awarded based on best value using a tradeoff method. Quotes must be submitted via email with a completed proposal spreadsheet, and the government will evaluate offers in a phased approach considering breed conformance, availability, past performance, and price. Offerors must be able to deliver canines within 60 days of the estimated purchase order date and are responsible for all transportation costs for delivery and any required returns. The government will conduct a medical, physical, and behavioral evaluation of the canines at the El Paso location, and any canines that fail will be returned at the contractor's expense.
