The Department of Homeland Security seeks up to seven support canines for the Border Patrol K9 Center in El Paso, Texas. This is a 100% small business set-aside, firm-fixed-price purchase order. The evaluation is a phased best-value tradeoff, where technical and past performance factors are relatively equivalent to price, and canines must be available within 60 days of the estimated purchase order date. The contractor is responsible for delivering canines to El Paso, Texas, for a final evaluation and bears all costs for transportation and retrieval of animals that do not pass.
