CBP Untrained Canine – Detection, FOK9 DETACHMENT LOCATED AT THE EL PASO CANINE CENTER
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection seeks a single award for up to 27 detection canines to support the Border Patrol K9 Center in El Paso, Texas. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small businesses and will result in a firm-fixed-price purchase order using a best-value tradeoff method. Offerors must propose canines of specified breeds and demonstrate availability within 60 days of the estimated purchase order date. Evaluation occurs in phases: pass/fail for breed and availability, then a trade-off considering open order status, past performance, and price, followed by a physical canine evaluation. The contractor bears all transportation and return costs for canines that fail the government's medical, physical, and behavioral evaluation.
