Border Patrol Untrained Canine – Detection BPK9 – El Paso, TX.
CBP anticipates a requirement for 15 untrained detection canines for the Border Patrol K9 Center in El Paso, TX, with options to procure additional canines based on fund availability. This is a 100% small-business set-aside under NAICS 112990 with a $2.75M size standard, anticipated as a firm-fixed-price purchase order. Quotes will be evaluated in phases: pass/fail breed conformance and availability within 60 days of the estimated purchase order date, followed by a tradeoff of open CBP canine orders, past performance, and price. The top-ranked offeror will receive a purchase order for the full quantity and must deliver the canines to CBP for medical, physical, and behavioral evaluation at the offeror’s transportation and retrieval cost. Canines failing CBP evaluation will not be accepted and must be removed within 7 days of notification, with replacements allowed under the statement of work.
