End of amendment. ************************************************************************************************************ U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is conducting market research to gain a greater understanding of available commercial technologies that would enable or support the following mission requirements: Facilitate shipments by decreasing the time, cost, level of effort, and potential for human error, Exchange data between internal CBP systems, other U.S. Government Agencies, and international partners, Obtain supply-chain visibility from product manufacture/origin to delivery, Enable stakeholder participation in tracking, managing, and resolving trade-based enforcement cases, Detect and identify anomalous trade behavior. This RFI is a follow up to 2014XX01 posted in July 2023. This RFI includes additional requirement information beyond a narrow focus on distributed ledger technologies and seeks solutions that meets requirements. Interested parties who participated in the prior RFI are encouraged to submit additional responses as it may relate to the requirements provided in this RFI. Responses received to this RFI will be used to support an Alternatives Analysis of potential technologies and enabling capabilities available in the commercial marketplace. This is an RFI released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 – Market Research. This RFI’s purpose is to obtain market information on viable sources capable of meeting one or more of the required capabilities including: industry practices, answers to specific questions, and industry comments. Once submitted, all RFI submissions become Government property and will not be returned. It is for informational purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP). A solicitation is NOT being issued. The Government will not award a contract on the basis of this RFI, nor will the Government pay for any information submitted by respondents. All proprietary or sensitive corporate information must be clearly marked. This announcement in no way obligates or commits the Government to acquire any product or service. There shall be no basis for claims against the Government as a result of information submitted in response to this RFI. CBP seeks information from vendors that are able to provide capabilities that satisfy the general requirements identified.
