The requirement is to provide follow-on support for supplies and services currently provided by Deployed Resources under the OSS BPA, in support of humanitarian efforts on the southern border in Texas, under the pressure and rigorous demands of the title 42 migrant surge. The task order modification will upgrade services and increase the quantities of existing supplies at a total cost of $210,714.00 over the period of performance. The modification is a logical follow-on task order justification in the interest of “economy and efficiency” as it will allow CBP to quickly procure needed resources in support of the influx of non-citizens on the southwest border. Additionally, it will allow CBP law enforcement officers to maintain mission critical operations to secure the border, while they also assist with relief efforts to support the migrants in response to the border crisis.
