Notice of Intent to Sole Source: This acquisition will be in support of Department of Homeland Security US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Air and Marine. CBP intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract for the procurement of Skymira LLC services for CBP's Air and Marine Operations Center (AMOC) March ARB one a sole source basis to Skymira LLC,167 Cherry St, #430, Milford Ct 06460. These services consist of procuring uninterrupted connection from Skymira LLC server to Unitrac server in the AMOC Riverside, California. The connection will allow the GPS tracking information to be displayed at the Air and Marine Operations Center. The satellite airtime provided by Skymira LLC will allow the Air and Marine Operations Center (AMOC) on March ARB to continuously receive global positions from Skymira LLC GPS tracking devices with no loss of information. The anticipated contract will be for a 6 month base year and three 12 month options periods. The authority for soliciting from a single source is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice is neither a request for proposal nor an invitation for bids. There is no formal solicitation available for the requirement at this time.
