US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is in the process of developing a requirement for seizure services (pre and post consignment), receipt, towing, photographing, storage, custody, inventory, Seize... US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is in the process of developing a requirement for seizure services (pre and post consignment), receipt, towing, photographing, storage, custody, inventory, Seized Asset and Case Tracking System (SEACATS) entry, and disposition of seized and forfeited vehicles in the Southwest Border States. This can include repair work and services such as making recall repairs, opening or removing hidden compartments, dropping and replacing of fuel tanks and inspections. The CBP team is interested in incorporating commercial and industry practices that support this type of procurement. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is included as part of this Request for Information (RFI) and for purposes of understanding the requirement. (Note: This SOW is subject to change prior to release of any formal solicitation.) Responses to this RFI will allow the CBP team to incorporate industry input into the initial stages of the program. Note: RFI responses will NOT be shared with other industry suppliers and will solely be used as part of the contract planning process. In addition to an explanation of how your company can satisfy the requirements of the SOW, a list of other questions (below) are to be addressed as part of any response to the RFI. Please reference question number with each response as follows: 1. In addition, identify whether your company is ISO certified and to what level. 2. Do you have any unique capabilities, tools, technology or programs that can enhance this process? 3. Do you have experience in breaking down compartments? 4. How much business of this type do you do in the affected SW states? 5. Do you have the infrastructure in place to store and then sell seized vehicles? 6. How do you keep track of miles for tows? 7. Do you have an automated billing/invoicing system in place? 8. Do you have the capacity to handle at least 75% of all of the required tows for the entire region covered without subcontract support? 9. How would you handle Vehicle identification/accountability capabilities? 10. What is your familiarity with the Treasury Finance Manual (TFM) requirements for Over the Counter Collections? 11.
