This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE ORDER under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to solicit and negotiate directly with Compuware Corporation, 1 Campus Martius, Detroit, MI 28226-5000 for the following software products: FDR Instant Backup maintenance, FDR/FASTCPK maintenance, ABR maintenance, and FDRPAS maintenance. Compuware Corporation is the only provider of these items, and no other product or service will meet the Government’s needs. No formal solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, prospective contractors who believe they can successfully quote must provide specific detailed technical documentation to support such claims of abilities. The Government will review any submittals received in response to this notice prior to 3:30 pm Eastern Time on March 1, 2021. All documentation must be submitted via email. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in the preparation of responses to this announcement. This is the only notice that will be issued for these items. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
