The Government is releasing this Draft Statement of Work (SOW) as a courtesy to interested offerors. This Draft Statement of Work is in relation to a potential future requirement that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is preparing to release a solicitation for Medical Services. CBP has already released the following two Requests for Information (RFI) for this potential requirement, on Aril 12, 2019: CBP-HRM-RFI-Pre-Employment-Medical-Services CBP-HRM-RFI-Post-Employment-Medical-Services This Draft Statement of Work is released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 – Market Research and Part 15.201(e). It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ) Invitation for Bids (IFB) or a promise to issue an RFP or formal acquisition in the future. This presolicitation notice of the Draft SOW does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever nor does it intend to award a contract on the basis of this presolicitation notice. The Government also wants to address the length of the Statement of Work. Please note that the SOW is broken into two separate programs: Pre-Employment and Post-Employment. Many of the requirements are restated or very similar for each program, which has resulted in the lengthier Statement of Work document. The Government is working diligently on a potential solicitation, but is not providing details of the potential solicitation release at this time.
