The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement and requesting quotations for the following parts: Item 1) NSN: 2090 01-F15-4492, HEAVY WEATHER MODIFICATION KIT Quantity: 14 EA P/N TB1010.1 HEAVY WEATHER MOD PROVIDES MATERIALS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOVING THE MAST STEPS FROM THE STARBOARD SIDE OF THE PILOTHOUSE ENTRY TO THE PORT SIDE OF THE PILOTHOUSE ENTRY, ADDING A NEW HANDLE TO THE EXTERIOR OF THE PILOT HOUSE, AND ADDING A BAFFLE TO THE ENGINE ROOM AIR INTAKES **ALL ITEMS SHALL BE INDIVIDUALLY PACKAGE IAW MIL-STD-2073-1E METHOD 10 AS DESCRIBED BELOW: KIT IS TO BE BOXED AND LABELED WITH NAME, PART NUMBER, NSN, QNTY AND CONTRACT ORDER NUMBER OR PR NUMBER. MARKINGS: IAW MIL-STD-129R AND BAR CODED IAW ISO/IEC-16388-2007, CODE 39 SYMBOLOGY. Delivery Schedule - Delivery is required by 3/30/19. Each Item shall be individually packaged in its own protective container. Markings shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129R AND BAR CODED IAW ISO/IEC-16388-2007, CODE 39 SYMBOLOGY. Inspection and acceptance shall take place at Destination after verification of preservation, Individual packaging and marking requirements and confirmation of no damage during transit. Failure to comply with packaging requirements will result in rejection and nonpayment. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center, Baltimore MD. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source purchase order shall be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. It is the Government's belief that only Fincantieri Marinette Marine or their authorized distributors can obtain the required technical and engineering data, and genuine OEM parts, required to successfully provide these items. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide these same items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within three (3) calendar days from the day this notice is posted. The information submitted must include a letter from the OEM verifying the offeror is an authorized distributor, and verifying the OEM will supply only genuine OEM parts. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2019-01 (JAN 2019) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
