Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Handheld Backscatter Device This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award prescribed in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures and in conjunction in the format of Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number 192122VWA0000004 shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this request for quote. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06, effective May 26, 2022. This proposed acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small businesses and issued under The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334517; Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Questions concerning this RFQ shall be submitted no later than 10:00am Central Time, June 24, 2022.
