LT Laster can be reached at (831)901-9804. This solicitation is extended to 27 September 2023, 11:59 pm EST. Modifcation_2 09/27/2023: SOW Update, added photographs an answered questions. Contractor shall be responsible for performing the work necessary to meet the City standards in a safe, neat, and high-quality workmanlike manner using only accepted methods in carrying out the work and complying with all Federal, State, and Local laws. Contractor is to comply with all codes and regulations having jurisdiction for work to be performed under this SOW. To include, but not limited to providing all parts, labor, materials, tools, and supervision to repair electrical short, install mechanism to prevent future electrical shorts, and restore electrical power to the pier shore tie. Contractor shall pull apart cables located at the high voltage Christy box near bathroom. Sawcut and remove only that concrete necessary to access conduit. Cut existing conduit back to get more length of cable to re-splice and tape up existing cabling with waterproof tape. Without damaging existing cabling, dig down below cables to make space to install drain rock. Dig a trench from Christy box to fence and under fence for new drainpipe. Install a 4" drainpipe from Christy box to ocean edge to drain any water that would get in box to avoid future electrical shorting. Refill the trench with drain rock and put drain rock at bottom of the Christy box. Install an appropriate drain cover on pipe at bottom of Christy box. Back fill trench. Re-splice all connections in Christy box. Elevate cables to avoid having them laying on drain rock or dirt. Ensure the breaker at the building doesn't trip and power is restored for shore power on pier. Perform any tests to ensure all electrical repairs are operating properly. Provide a minimum warranty for all materials installed. This shall include any material imperfections or abnormalities. Ensure electrical power supply is restored for cutter (ship) shore tie on pier and its components are all in operating status IAW manufactures specifications.
