USCGC MUNRO (WMSL-755) at Coast Guard Island Pier, Alameda CA 94501, is requesting quotes for approximately 3,500 gallons of oily (hazardous) waste offload. The contractor shall have an over the water permit to transfer oily waste from the cutter to the pier. The contractor shall provide deployment of containment boom prior commencement of work, and recovery of containment boom upon completion of work (see cutter specs below). The contractor shall supply containment boom during the over the water transfer. The contractor shall provide all hoses to accommodate a 150-foot span from the discharge point on the cutter to the contractor provided truck on the pier. Cutter connection is 2” camlock. The contractor is responsible for disposing hazardous waste IAW state and federal regulations. Preferred offload period is expected between August 26th and August 30th, 2024. Time for Service: 0800 -1200 preferred. This will be set aside for small business companies and will be awarded on the lowest price technically acceptable. The service wage contract act will apply to this award.
