The bottles be taken... Service must be provided by Department of Transportation (DOT) approved hydro-static test facility. Hydro-test 09 50lb CO2 bottles attached to the units various fixed CO2 systems. The bottles be taken 03 at a time to ensure that the installed systems remain operational. Post hydro-test, the bottles be refilled and returned to the unit with ships force assisting in the reinstallation. Additionally, request that the hoses attached to the bottles be hydrotested in addition to rebuilding the valve assembly on the bottles. Hoses must be renewed or tested at a pressure of 1,000 psi. At test pressure, the pressure must not drop at a rate greater than 150 psi per minute for a 2-minute period. Contractor must have a valid driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance in order to gain access to the military installation at time of service.
