FEMA MERS Bothell is requesting proposals for new, unused tires and related tire replacement services for Government vehicles and trailers. The contractor must be located within 30 miles of the FEMA MERS Bothell office, and services may be performed at either the contractor’s location or the FEMA location as coordinated with the Government. The scope includes supplying new commercial truck and trailer tires, removing old tires, mounting and installing new tires, spin balancing where required, installing new metal valve stems where required, providing labor, and disposing of removed tires in compliance with applicable regulations. All work must be coordinated with the Government Point of Contact, and used, retreaded, recapped, regrooved, blemished, or previously mounted tires are prohibited unless specifically authorized in writing by the Contracting Officer. Proposals will be evaluated on a lowest priced technically acceptable basis in accordance with the attached Statement of Work.
