NOTICE OF INTENET TO SOLE SOURCE This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This notice is for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The NAICS code for this procurement is 333999, manufacturing general purpose machinery. The period of performance for this procurement is 12 months The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Division of Strategic National Stockpile (DSNS) intends to award a sole source T& M contract to Phonetics, Inc. d.b.a. Sensaphone located at 901 Tyrens Road Aston, PA 19014. The mission of SNS is to deliver critical medical assets to the site of a national emergency. To aid in the effectiveness of this mission, the SNS maintains Sensaphone system support contracts to ensure the rapid resolution of critical incidents in order to help reduce system downtime. The purpose of this contract renewal is to provide SNS with comprehensive support for the Sensaphone monitoring system. Sensaphone system support is intended to cover all applications, databases, and hardware related to the Sensaphone system, excluding replacement or repair of hardware. Additionally, support includes patches and updates to the Sensaphone application to correct functional, security, and performance issues. Sensaphone is the only licensed provider of Sensaphone monitoring system and therefore is the only source capable to provide this requirement to the Government. It is the Government's belief that only one responsible source exists, and no other product or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement. All responses must be received by September 20, 2020 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
