The p... This is a Sources Sought notice for CISCO brand-name network equipment as outlined in the attached Bill of Materials. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Indian Health Service (IHS), Division of Acquisition Policy (DAP) is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is NAICS-423430/SIC-5045 with an associated small business size standard of 250 employees. A single contract award is forecasted for this requirement. Cisco Network Equipment (See Attached Bill of Materials) Network Routers. Network Switches. Fiber Optic Transceivers. Pursuant to 48 CFR Part 326, Subpart 326.603-3 and IHM 5.5-6, Indian Health Service must use the negotiation authority of the Buy Indian Act, 25 U.S.C. 47, to give preference to Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) whenever the use of that authority is authorized and practicable. The Government is seeking to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) capable of performing the below Indian Health Services (IHS) requirement. Any ISBEE vendor responding to this notice must include the Buy Indian Act Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form (attached) with their capability statement. . Instructions for submission are outlined below. ISBEEs are highly encouraged to respond to this notice. However, firms should understand that generic capability statements are not sufficient for effective evaluation of their capacity and capability to perform the work required. Responses must directly demonstrate the company’s capability, experience, and ability to provide and support CISCO -Network Equipment (see attached BOM). The Government will review all responses to this sources sought in determining if an ISBEE, small business or other socioeconomic set-aside is supported by the responses received. INSTRUCTIONS TO INDUSTRY The Government requests interested parties submit a written capability statement to this notice, which includes the below information. IMPORTANT: All Offerors must certify within their capability statement that they are a Cisco Authorized Channel partner or Cisco reseller. Company Name. Company Socioeconomic Status. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization’s qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be released. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. Confidentiality. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. Capability statements will not be accepted after the due date. The maximum number of pages for this submission is five (5) pages, not including a cover page.
