The Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) needs a system upgrade to its Nurse Call (NCS) and MIDMARK Real-time Locating systems (RTLS). The Phoenix Area Indian Health Service facilities currently operate on the systems provided by the brands ASCOM and MIDMARK. For continuity of services, the brand name ASCOM and MIDMARK are the only branded equipment acceptable. The contractor shall be an approved third-party vendor authorized for resale of the required brand, and its installers shall be licensed to remove and install ASCOM NCS and MIDMARK RTLS Sharing hand hygiene/staff locate systems at PIMC. The ASCOM NCS is a communications management solution designed for monitoring and responding to calls and is made up of a network of staff and patient room devices that provides routine and emergent communications between patients, nurses, and other hospital staff using audio and visual notifications. Acceptance for this acquisition shall be obtained upon verification and approval that all ASCOM NCS and MIDMARK RTLS hardware, cabling, and software necessary for optimum operation throughout the facility has been installed and tested for performance. The Contractor shall procure, install, and configure all new ASCOM NCS and MIDMARK RTLS equipment to operate onsite at PIMC.
