The Billings Area Indian Health Service is seeking sources for Emergency Department Services. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of MARKET RESEARCH being conducted by the Billings Area Indian Health Service. This market research is being conducted to increase competition for this requirement by identifying potential sources and to determine the best acquisition strategy for this requirement. The Government is interested in all potential sources including Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a) businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, & Indian Economic Enterprise (Buy-Indian), etc. Potential sources shall be capable of providing Emergency Room (ER) Physicians (Board Certified / Board Eligible / ER Experience); Mid-Level Providers (Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner); and Hospitalists. General Scope of Work: The contractor will provide on-site outpatient, inpatient, routine, urgent, and emergent medical services to patients that present for care to the Service Units within the Billings Area Indian Health Service. The care shall be in compliance with JCAHO and CMS Conditions of Participation and EMTALA regulations. The contract physicians shall be board certified, or demonstrate competency by residency completion, years of experience and/or current work assignments. The contract mid-level provider will be board certified by their appropriate board and have experience in the setting they are being assigned (Clinic or Emergency Department).
