SOURCES SOUGHT BACKGROUND: The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (AAIHS), Santa Fe Indian Health Center (SFIHC) has a need/requirement for Emergency Generator Preventative Maintenance. PURPOSE/STATEMENT OF WORK: The Santa Fe Indian Health Center has one Level 1, Type 10 emergency power supply system, consisting of a Generac brand SD350 generator, plus the following automatic transfer switches: ASCO 150 amp ATS, ASCO 200 amp ATS and ASCO 400 amp ATS. As part of this Scope of Work (SOW), the contractor shall provide specialized testing, inspection services and repair work to ensure that the emergency generator and power supply system is in compliance with NFPA 110 and The Joint Commission (TJC) Environment of Care section 02.05.07 accreditation requirements. These services shall be performed by a Contractor having a proven history of proper qualifications, competence, experience, and performance with a generator similar to that listed above. The Contractor for this work shall provide all material, listed replacement parts, equipment, labor, tools, PPE, transportation and related items to perform the required inspection of and repair work to the emergency generator as described. Utilize the information received with future acquisition planning efforts and potential Buy Indian set aside. HOW TO RESPOND: This is a sources sought notice under the authority of the Buy Indian Act. The Indian Health Service (IHS) is attempting to locate qualified and eligible Small Business Indian Firms, “Native American Indian Owned and Operated businesses,” that can provide services/supplies to the Indian Health Service. This is a request for information only, this is not a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary with no obligation or incurred cost by the government. Provide with response – E-mail response.
