The DAM seeks to order an X-ray microCT scanning with in situ compressive loading capability for additively manufactured (AM) fabricated lattice specimens, a service contract to purchase microCT scanning services. OSEL’s Division of Applied Mechanics request a contract for X-ray microCT scanning with in situ compressive loading capability for additively manufactured (AM) fabricated lattice specimens. These Ti-6Al-4V cylindrical lattice samples shall have strut diameters ranging from 150-350 µms and relative densities ranging from 0.15-0.25. The samples shall have cylindrical geometries that are 15 mm in diameter and 22.5 mm in height. FDA will provide the contractor with the AM Ti-6Al-4V lattice samples and a testing protocol. FDA will pay for shipping and handling costs of the samples to and from the contractor as long as the shipping location is inside the continental U.S. Otherwise, the contractor will pay for shipping and handling costs of the samples to and from the contractor.
