The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS), on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Health Effects Laboratory Division (HELD), intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order for a maintenance purchase order for a Shimadzu liquid chromatography system. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for simplified acquisition procedure items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is RFQ # 20-Q-71755. OFFERORS ARE ADVISED AN AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE QUOTE RECEIVED. Offerors should not assume they will be contacted or afforded the opportunity to revise quotes prior to award; therefore, all quotes should contain offerors’ best terms from a technical and price standpoint. All quotes must include the name, address, and DUNS number of the business to be awarded the purchase order as well as the name, phone number, and email address of the person who will accept the purchase order on behalf of the successful offeror. Offerors must cite RFQ # 20-Q-71755 on their quote. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811219. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, the offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of the purchase order in accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-7.
