Indian Health Service (IHS), Phoenix Area Office on behalf of U&O Service Unit is conducting this Sources Sought to identify contractors who possess the capabilities to provide non-personal Medical Waste Disposal Service as specified in the Draft Statement of Work. The designated NAICS code is 562112, with a size standard of $38,500,000.00. Responses shall reference this Sources Sought announcement number, “RFQIHS1392570-Medical Waste Services, U&O.” All organization under the applicable NAICS code are welcome to submit a response to this notice. The result shall be reviewed to identify if small business set-aside for this requirement will be appropriate. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). Indian Health Service (IHS) is utilizing this tool as part of market research. Your responses will assist IHS in the development of its possible RFP and in determining whether any type of small business set-aside is possible for this procurement or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized.
