The Office of Laboratory Science and Safety (OLSS) will serve as the responsible party and source of funds for the project. OLSS will provide a subset of survey meters on a periodic basis to the Contractor, such that every meter is sent to the Contractor for calibration once per year. The Contractor will calibrate those survey meters using methods in accordance with ANSI N323-1997 and Agreement State License. The Contractor will then return survey meters to OLSS, along with a calibration report, no later than 10 working days after Contractor receipt. Contractor will maintain a database of CDC survey meters in order to notify CDC of upcoming renewal periods. OLSS will select and send survey meters to Contractor. Contractor will calibrate survey meters in accordance with ANSI N323-1997 and Agreement State License. If any survey meters require repairs, the Contractor will contact the OLSS for authorization prior to making repairs. Contractor will return calibrated survey meters to OLSS using a trackable shipper and provide the tracking information the Technical Monitor (TM) within 24 hours of shipment. Contractor will include the calibration report with the survey meters. When applicable, Contractor will provide a report of any repair services performed. All routine shipping costs from the Contractor to OLSS will be incurred by OLSS.
