This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (a written solicitation will not be issued) and quotes are being requested. The Solicitation number is RFQ-NIAID-25-2259245 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This is a restricted solicitation with a Total Small Business Set-Aside requirement. Specifications of requirement: The Division of Intramural Research (DIR), a component of NIAID of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), seeks to purchase Dry Ice pellets required for use in daily experiments being conducted by multiple NIAID laboratories. Specifications: DRY ICE 1/8" HIGH DENSITY RICE 63700 LB - COMMERCIAL GRADE BUILDING 4 B1 Elevator lobby, B2 lobby, Room 114 & 113 and 3rd floor lobby DRY ICE 1/8" HIGH DENSITY RICE 52000 LB - COMMERCIAL GRADE BUILDING 50 Room 4329 and Room 6327 DRY ICE 1/8" HIGH DENSITY RICE 71000 LB - COMMERCIAL GRADE BUILDING 33 Room 1S06, Room 2S06 and third floor elevator lobby Delivery: Frequency of delivery: Twice per week Delivery will be required to multiple floors located in 3 Buildings. Must be able to deliver to elevator lobby on third floor and possibly higher floors. Deliver dry ice rice twice per week on Mondays and Thursdays during business hours. Business hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dry ice rice shall be 1/8 inch in size. NOT leave the dry ice rice on the loading docks. Deliver to individual areas specified. Unpack the dry ice rice and place into bins. NOT overstock laboratories. Excess amounts will not be delivered and taken back. Only bill for the amount delivered.
