This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items,” as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (a written solicitation will not be issued) and quotes are being requested. The Solicitation number is RFQ-NIAID-25-2258360 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03 January 17, 2025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325120, Industrial Gas Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,200 employees. The requirement is being competed full and open competition, with a small business set-aside. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has a requirement for: Bulk deliver of liquid nitrogen to 12 dedicated cryogenic low temperature freezers in building 10, room(s) 6A22, 6A24, 6A25, 6A30, 6A31 and 11B07 (11B/11S Corridors) for 12 months. The delivery cycle is an estimated 5 times a week and includes a rental 240-liter tank for a period of 12 months. Period of Performance 4/1/25 to 3/31/26. Estimation of 95,000 liters per year. Place of Performance: NIH, 10 Center Drive, BLDG 10 – Clinical Center, Bethesda, MD 20892, United States.
