This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Submit offers on NIAID-2010891. This solicitation is a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-04, dated January 15, 2020. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1000. The requirement is being processed as a small business set aside with a Brand Name restriction. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), is seeking to purchase a Cellometer auto 2000 cell viability counter system and accessories: Cellometer Auto 2000 Automatic Cell Viability Counter system, with dual fluorescence, including pack of 75 slides, Qty. 3 each Disposable, all plastic cell counting chambers for Cellometer cell counters, Qty. 15 each Place of Performance: NIH, 8200 Research Plaza, Frederick, MD, 21702, United States. FOB: Destination Delivery is 30 days ARO. The government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible contractor as a result of this RFQ that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein. The award will be based on the following; technical capability to meet the requirements, past performance, and price. The Government intends to award without discussions but reserves the right to conduct discussions should it be deemed in the Government’s best interest. FAR provisions and clauses are attached. The applicable subparagraphs of FAR52.212-5 are included in the attachment to this posting. The government intends to award a purchase order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.
