Portable Force Plate System-Brand Name and Equal (BNE)
The FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health, in collaboration with OSEL’s Human-Device Interaction lab, seeks a portable force plate system for gait and balance assessment supporting regulatory science research on medical devices. The system must include at least two force plates with specified multiaxis force/moment capacities, USB plug-and-play synchronization for up to 12 plates, Vicon Nexus compatibility, real-time streaming, built-in amplifier, portability under 12 kg, and recessing hardware. The contractor must provide a minimum one-year hardware warranty covering full replacement for manufacturing defects or operational failures, including shipping costs. Delivery is required no later than 60 days after award to 10903 New Hampshire Ave, Building 62-1105, Silver Spring, MD 21140. The period of performance is 12 consecutive months commencing upon award.
