The Billings Area Indian Health Service is issuing this Special Notice RFQ(SN)-CSU-22-010-JJP Sources Sought Synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify any potential vendors including IEE (Indian Economic Enterprise) or ISBEE (Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise) sources pursuant to the Buy Indian Act (25 USC 47). The Indian Health Service is attempting to locate qualified and eligible IEE and ISBEE sources “Native American Owned and Operated Businesses” that can provide a Requirement for Food Subsistence and Supplies such as: Milk and Dairy Products; Bread and Bakery Products; Coffee and Tea Products; and Food Service Supplies - Perishable and Non-Perishable Products for the Crow/Northern Cheyenne IHS Hospital, Crow Agency, Montana, 59022. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to the procurements is: 311511 Fluid Milk Manufacturing, 311812 Commercial Bakeries, 311920 Coffee and Tea Manufacturing, 311991 Perishable Prepared Food Manufacturing and 311999 All other miscellaneous food manufactering. The Vendor shall have industry standard knowledge to fulfill orders for the following diets. -Cardiac -Mechanical Soft -Puree Low fat/low cholesterol Vegetarian Reduced concentrated sweets Finger food Gluten free 1,200 calorie 1,800 calorie 1,800 calorie, 2 gram sodium 1,500 calorie diabetic 2,00 calorie diabetic Renal Soft THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This is a request for capability information and does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Federal Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide these contract supplies, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization, native owned certificate 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability 3) Minimum order requirements 4) Minimum delivery requirements. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements.
