The procurement seeks to acquire one Siemens Vision 600 PET/CT scanner or equivalent, urgently needed to replace an existing scanner reaching end of service life on 31DEC2026. The new system will support clinical PET/CT scans for adult and pediatric patients with cancer and other serious conditions at the Clinical Center. The advanced sensitivity, resolution, and field of view will improve lesion detection and characterization, aiding diagnosis and treatment planning.
