Equipment: 7T MRI System with a dedicated, high-performance, local gradient subsystem.

Notice ID:RFP-2026-NIH-7TMR

The NIH seeks a single-award, firm-fixed-price contract for a new research-dedicated 7-Tesla ultra-high-field MRI system with a high-performance local head gradient subsystem, including full turn-key installation, training, and trade-in/de-installation of the existing legacy Siemens 7T system. Performance will occur at the NIH Clinical Center (Building 10) in Bethesda, MD, with an overall period of performance of 18 to 24 months from award. Offerors must meet stringent mandatory technical baselines for magnet, gradients, RF, console, patient table, warranties, and demonstrate technical equivalence with line-by-line evidence if offering an equal system. Only vendors that attended the mandatory site visit are eligible to submit a proposal, and award will be based on best-value tradeoff favoring superior performance over lowest price. A large-business subcontracting plan, SAM registration, trade agreements certification, and Section 508 accessibility documentation are required with the proposal.
