The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) intends to make a sole source award to Quest Diagnostics Clinical Laboratories, Inc for clinical laboratory services to support Federal Occupational Health (FOH). Daily clinical laboratory services to Federal employees at numerous FOH locations, through the FOH Private Provider Network and at FOH customer agencies. This acquisition is for a modification to the existing task order, HHSPHHSP23320110001DI_ HHSP23337001T. The task order ceiling will be increased by approximately $970K. The period of performance will be extended by five months. This award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive orders. However, all responsible sources will submit a capability statement within three (3) calendar days after the publication which shall be considered by the agency. Responses received after the response date or without the required information may not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete as result of information received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The projected award date is December 2019.
