The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a SOLE SOURCES JUSTIFICATION for firm fixed price contract to Carahsoft Inc. We propose to contract with Salesforce is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. The NCCDPHP Award Management Platform (AMP) is an internally developed award management application built on Salesforce technology. This procurement is intended to renew licensing of the Salesforce application to enable on-going use and development of the NCCDPHP Award Management Platform (AMP). The NCCDPHP Award Management Platform Pilot (AMP) project provides a scalable, unified, web-based post award grants management platform for 8 Divisions and 18 Award Programs across NCCDPHP. This contract action is for software for the CRM system used for the AMP project must have the capability to automatically recommend answers for frequently asked questions to the clients. Based on alternative analysis conducted by our Center, Salesforce is the only cloud-based CRM system that has this capability. The software for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 6.302-1 and 10 USC 3406 Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
