The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ASTDR, Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology and Laboratory Services, Specimen Inventory Management System intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Labvantage Solutions Inc. 265 Davidson Ave STE 220, Somerset, NJ 08873-4120. The statutory authority for this sole source acquisition is U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611420, Computer Training, size standard $12,000,000.00 This sole source acquisition is required because Labvantage Solutions is the only vendor who can provide the required annual technical support and or product updates for the LabVantage proprietary software. They will ensure that the Sample Inventory management System – LabVantage (SIMS-LV) can appropriately handle the sample collections (and associated documentation, information, and data) throughout all aspects of sample inventory management (e.g. processing, accessioning, querying, importing, preparing shipments, reporting). The Contractor shall also ensure that all enhancements and changes made to SIMS-LV will provide continued operability for associated CDC programs. No solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. A determination by the government not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Interested parties who believe they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet the requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
