The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) hereby announces its intent to issue a sole source order to SKC-West, Inc., PO Box 4133, Fullerton, CA 92834-4133 for AirChek TOUCH 5-pack High/Low Flow Pump Kit (GSA: GS07F-038BA), NoiseCHEK Noise Dosimeter 5-pack Kit (open market), IS NoiseCHEK Noise Dosimeter 5-pack Kit (open market), training (open market), and shipping. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334519 Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, with a size standard of 600. NIOSH has a need for the following items. These products support the needs of the NIOSH Western States Division (WSD) to maintain and enhance our ability to characterize occupational exposures to airborne particles and gases and to occupational noise exposures. This action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 8.405-6. This is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will review any/all product, capabilities, and pricing information submitted prior to the closure of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
