The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order to Mapbox, Inc. for use of the Mapbox platform. Mapbox GL JS and Address Autofill is a subscription service that ICATT requires to give users the ability to find pharmacy partners in their community through the ICATT consumer search for diagnostic testing tool. The specific services are the address autofill and mapping of ICATT site locations. The Mapbox subscription specifically is required because it is necessary for the ICATT location tool to match the look and feel of the search tool on Vaccines.gov, which also uses Mapbox. Mapbox GL JS is the only JavaScript library for vector maps on the web that is capable of the interactive and real time location styling required by the Government. HHS is already using Mapbox with Vaccines.gov and required the ICATT website to have the same unique capabilities (JavaScript library for vector maps that is capable of the interactive and real time location styling required by the Government) and compatible look and feel. Market research was conducted to include an extensive online search for similar subscriptions and services with capabilities to give users directions to the nearest ICATT participating pharmacy. No other service has the same capability, look, or feel. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
