This RFI, as outlined in FAR 15.201(c)(7), is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Office of Acquisition Management Services (OAMS) is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if any is issued. OCR is seeking recommendations and solutions for replacing the legacy PIMS system with a completely new, modernized system to manage and track OCR activities and be the system of record. It shall greatly improve the efficiency of HQ and regional users, taking advantage of the very latest technology, while being flexible enough to accommodate changes in business processes without requiring custom development. The services being sought are to support all aspects of the PIMS replacement within OCR, including migration of more than two terabytes of data to the new system. This requires highly trained and highly skilled consultants and analysts who are integral to the success and performance of OCR and further OCR’s mission as described above through various mission support activities.
