The NIH needs a contractor to rig and relocate heavy, sensitive Government-owned radiation detection equipment—including Mirion whole body counters and BeGE detector systems—from Building 21 (Rooms 117 and 143) to Building 13 (Room 3W51) on the NIH Campus in Bethesda, Maryland. The contractor must supply all personnel, supervision, materials, rigging, packaging, transportation, and resources to safely move the fragile high-value instrumentation, while disassembly, reassembly, calibration, testing, and validation are excluded and will be handled separately by the manufacturer. Performance is anticipated within 10 weeks after award, during business hours between 9 AM and 5 PM, over an internal NIH campus route with floor protection in Building 13 and escorted access.
