This is a non-competitive notice of intent to award a contract for the maintenance of a Bruker Biospec 7T MRI Scanner at the Neurophysiology Imaging Facility. The required services include comprehensive hardware and software maintenance, technical support, parts, and updates to support nonhuman primate research. The period of performance is a 12-month base period with three 12-month option periods. The contract is justified because the original equipment manufacturer, Bruker BioSpin Corporation, is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the necessary proprietary support.
