This is a Notice of Intent for a sole-source contract to provide care and maintenance of the NIH/NIAID Jamaican Fruit Bat colony. The work is intended to be performed with Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is identified as the owner and developer of the currently utilized services. The Government intends to negotiate on an other-than-full-and-open-competition basis, citing that only one responsible source can satisfy the requirement. This notice is not a request for proposals, but interested vendors may submit a capability statement to demonstrate their ability to meet the requirement. A determination on whether to compete the requirement will be based solely on the responses received.
