THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services intends to award, under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (Dollar Threshold for Simplified Acquisitions $250,000.00) a fixed price purchase order for a contractor to provide consulting services. The Office of Strategic Operations and Regulatory Affairs is looking for a subject matter expert who is experienced in (1) legislative research and analysis; (2) Medicare & Medicaid Public Policy Analysis and Development; (3) Economic Impact Analysis; and (4) Regulations Writing who has in depth knowledge of the operations, policies, regulations, and statutes governing the Medicare and Medicaid program areas. A detail Statement of Work and Schedule of Deliverables is attached. It is anticipated that the number of labor hours will be 265 hours for the base year and 265 labor hours for each of the three additional Option Years. The period of performance is anticipated to start approximately February 20, 2023. Your response shall be not more than ten pages which includes a cover page. An award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quotation is the lowest price and most technically acceptable. Evaluation criteria has been attached. The award should be made within 5-7 business days of the RFQ response due date. Your quote should include the following additional information: 1. Company Name, Address 2. Contact Person, name, Telephone Number, Fax Number, E-Mail Address 3. Business Size Classification, i.e. Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman Owned 4. UEI SAM Number 5. Tax ID NO. Note: You must be registered and the registration current in the SAM or System for Award Management in order to receive a federal government award.
