THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services intends to award, under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (Dollar Threshold for Simplified Acquisitions $250,000.00) a fixed price purchase order for a contractor to provide consulting services. The Office of Strategic Operations and Regulatory Affairs is looking for a subject matter expert who is experienced in (1) legislative research and analysis; (2) Medicare & Medicaid Public Policy Analysis and Development; (3) Economic Impact Analysis; and (4) Regulations Writing. A detail Statement of Work and Schedule of Deliverables is attached. It is anticipated that the number of labor hours will be 273 hours for the base year and 273 labor hours for each of the two additional Option Years. The period of performance is anticipated to start approximately February 18, 2020. An award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quotation is the lowest price and most technically acceptable. The award should be made within 3-5 business days of the RFQ response due date.
