The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources (ASFR), Office of Acquisition (OA), Division of Acquisition (DA) requires software license maintenance and support for its existing Unison (formerly CompuSearch) PRISM system. CompuSearch is now doing business as Unison. The Unison HCAS PRISM provides a single enterprise acquisition solution for the nine HHS OPDIVs/STAFFDIVs; Office of the Secretary (OS), Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Program Support Center (PSC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Indian Health Service (IHS), Office of Inspector General (OIG) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). For nine OPDIVs/STAFFDIVs that are utilizing HCAS, this is the only method of awarding contracts and orders and recording acquisition transactions in the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS).
