THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION: A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITAION WILL NOT NE ISSUED. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to award on a competitive basis, under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13, a firm fixed price award to provide Transportation Services to employees with visual and mobility impairments to conferences, trainings, forums, etc. without barriers in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and technical evaluation criteria. The PURCHASE ORDER resulting from this RFQ will be awarded to the responsible Offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is determined to provide the “Best Value to the government. CMS reserves the right to award based upon the initial quote; therefore, the initial quote should contain the Offeror’s best terms. CMS also reserves the right to conduct exchanges with fewer than all Offerors. All responsible sources must be registered at www.sam.gov. The period of performance is for 12 months from date of award with 2 option years. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 485320 Limousine Services. All questions should be submitted electronically 11:00 AM (EST) on August 26, 2021.Questions will not be answered by telephone. All responses/quotes submitted shall be remain valid for a period of 180 days. Interested parties must be able to affirm no conflicts of interest with parties involved in Medicare claims processing in light of the work identified in this Statement of Work. In the event that the vendor/government identifies a conflict or the appearance of a conflict, the vendor shall be responsible for providing a mitigation strategy that satisfies the government. In the event that the conflict cannot be resolved, the order cannot be awarded or an existing order may need to be terminated.
