This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), Health Effects Laboratory Division (HELD). HELD has a requirement for an Inductively Coupled Plasma - Mass Spectrometor (ICP-MS). The ICP-MS must be able to perform direct analysis of up to 25% solids without dilution. The intended recipient of this purchase order is: Agilent Technologies Inc. located at 2850 Centerville Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808. This order is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received by September 1, 2023 by 11:00AM EDT will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
