(“Illumina”) for Preventative Maintenance Services for existing MiSeq and NextSeq instruments. The Government intends to issue a sole source award in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other will satisfy the agency requirements for the above stated service. Illumina is the manufacturer of MiSeq and NextSeq sequencing instruments. Illumina, Inc. is the only party that can deliver maintenance support on the systems. As such, services and parts required to service and/or upgrade the Illumina instruments and products can be sourced, installed, and guaranteed by Illumina. This will be a firm fixed price award. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of information received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
